It also means going against God’s righteousness, not man made righteousness. So being self righteous would be wicked in the eyes of the Lord our God. Taking revenge because someone wronged us would be wicked in the eyes of the Lord our God, because it is ego driven by pride and our own sense of justice, this is also wickedness to our God.
