Philosophers will never understand reality. They don’t want to, they’re to tied to the idea of how things should be rather than what they are. That’s why they constantly refer to things like the bible which aren’t necessarily accurate or give analogies. Look for the word “like”. Still, this

@ScotKorean I have noticed that philosophers don’t live in “worlds”, neither the real world or the ideal world, they live in paradigms. Most live in the same world, albeit a lot have religious views and therefore are less philosopher than theologians, they just look at the world in different ways. they think that the world is “created” by whoever is the one interpreting it. So a different world exists for every different paradigm. does that make sense?
@finnwesjohn It makes sense, yes and no; consider this: this is a Reality where no two bolts of lightning have the exact same pattern -no bolt is a carbon-copy duplicate of any other bolt- and no 2 snowflakes are perfectly the same..and no one sees the same rainbow because it’s contingent upon your own unique perspective…it would seem this is a Universe that apparently “delights” in variety of expression and divergent points-of-view..so..best not to take anything too terribly serious here….
@ScotKorean Enlightened individuals may use metaphorical terms to describe their experience of what is because there simply is no other system of symbols to do so. These are pointers, they are not the actual point. There is no way to explain what is. The aim of Alan’s words lie in the hope that you may see beyond them, and un shroud an unfettered life experience into your stream of consciousness so that you may feel no separation, not just idolize the notion.

God/Jesus is the ONLY Truth..ie..the only doctrine to follow. It ia written that those who don’t believe this, have the spirit of anti-Christ. He also says that ‘eyes and ears will be opened’..ie..a higher understanding! All that has been hidden will be revealed to those who are faithful to Him and ask. God has a number of Names..Yah Weh..I AM..etc. and if you deny Jesus Christ, then you deny the Father also. This is what anti-Christ means!!

The very same greek word for “one” as in the “hear O Israel, the Lord your God is one” is the very same greek word that is being used in John 10:33 “The Father and I are one”. Anthony Buzzard is just a cult. One of his main arguments against Christ being God is Psalms 110:1. But there were no vowels in Hebrew until 70 AD. Also, Christians believe that Christ is still a God/man in heaven which also silences his argument.

LOL…this is a joke. Seriously? You bring in a Unitarian ‘Christian’ to have a dialogue with a Muslim. Unitarians are not even orthodox. They are far from mainstream Christianity and do not represent the voice of the majority of Christians. Why not have a discussion with an evangelical Christian…the one’s that believe in the Trinity.
